Yep, pretty much. It’s the way he says her name, mostly, which is kinda a weird thing to consider subtext, but there you go.
No, I agree. Also the way he looks at her when she’s talking. He kind of half smiles, even when she’s arguing against him. It reads as a combination of respect and pride, to me. As if, “Yess, good job—you’re so brilliant! Oh wait. You’re the opposing counsel. Whoops. But it’s okay, ‘cause you’re still awesome and I’m sort of star-struck!”
Okay, maybe not exactly in that voice… But you get what I’m saying! XD
